Duncan, a Tampa Ray this year, was designated for assignment today, to make room for Luke Scott.
Donald Thomas Lutz

Lutz was called up today. He was in AA, and seemed a far ways from the show, but with Chris Heisey headed to the DL, the Reds were short of outfielders. Lutz was on the 40-man roster, and got the call.
J-Soft
March 2012 - Paul Janish, nicknamed “J-Soft” by Chipper Jones, on deck during a spring training game.
Janish had shoulder surgery in the off-season and was on rehab assignment with the AAA Gwinnett Braves. But he’s missed several games due to “soreness” and today was removed from the G-Braves roster. Looks like he had some kind of setback.

Chavez, now with the Mariners, is playing so well he’s likely a lock to stay with the team even when Michael Saunders comes off the DL.
El Comedulce

Abreu, 39, has not caught on with any team this year. He is hoping to make a comeback next year.
Didi Gregorius

Didi, now with the Diamondbacks, has been called up today, taking Aaron Hill’s spot on the roster. (Hill has a broken hand and is being DL’d)
Pickoff Attempt

After playing in only one game in two weeks, Marshall was put on the DL with shoulder tendinitis.
Shin-Soo Choo

Choo had a roller coaster of a game yesterday. Two costly errors in center field, but a great day at the plate.
