April 2009 - Then-prospect Phil Hughes, viewed from the now-removed upper deck of PNC Field.
Much was expected of Hughes, a first round draft pick. Yankee fans nicknamed him “Phil Huge” and “Phil Phranchise.”
He never quite lived up to those lofty expectations. A free agent, he’s signed with the Minnesota Twins.
